How much does your GPS tracking system cost?
The system includes an upfront payment for the device and an ongoing monthly service fee.The GPS tracker itself costs anywhere from $20 to several hundred dollars, but a monthly subscription must be purchased. We charge first and last month's service fees in advance for the Base, Pro and Pro+ packages. You can purchase a package of GPS trackers and monthly subscriptions in our store. GPS Tracking Alerts are special limits set by customers for their tracked vehicles. When a vehicle exceeds a limit, the system sends an email or text message to the customer. For example, the customer will also be notified if the vehicle exceeds the speed limit or violates geo-fencing regulations. The system can set five alert levels from low to high for each contact.
Is my vehicle supported?
Almost all vehicles are supported, but older models may have less engine data. For vehicles that do not have a standard OBDI port, Geotab offers customized harnesses to make it easy for you to connect your device to the vehicle's diagnostic port.Geotab also offers special three-wire harnesses that connect directly to the vehicle's battery power, making it easy for you to connect your G0 device to a vehicle that does not have a diagnostic port.

Can I use the software on my iPad, Android or Windows tablet?
The MvGeotab app is designed to run in your device's web browser. This means that you can access the software via my.geotab.com at no matter where you are on your computer or mobile device. Please note that the device you are using requires a valid Internet connection.
What are the minimum system requirements to run gtstargps?

How often is my vehicle updated?
MvGeotab maps are refreshed in the browser every 15 seconds. The device itself sends updates at different intervals depending on driver behavior or vehicle health.Geotab G0 devices update their location information at least every 100 seconds while driving. The greater the change in direction or speed, the more frequently the position is updated.
How many users can we have?
You can create an unlimited number of users. In addition, you can configure specific roles for users with different access rights. For example, you can set up different user account groups for Dispatchers, Managers, Supervisors, and Administrators. You can manage your user accounts by navigating to Manage and then selecting Users.
Is a GPS odometer more accurate than an engine odometer?
Yes, GPS is usually accurate to a few meters in well-covered areas. It is not unusual for the speed reported by a vehicle's engine to deviate from the actual value by a few percentage points. Vehicle speed depends on the rotation of the tires, so any variation in tire diameter will affect the accuracy of the odometer.
